Mac, iPad, iPhone · coming soon

A YAML and JSON editor that shows a file as an outline, says what each key means, and checks it against the rules of its kind.

It reads a configuration file, works out what kind it is (a Kubernetes manifest, a CI pipeline, a package file, an API description and more), and puts what is known about that kind next to the text.

A beta for the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone is being prepared.

SlayerTree on the Mac with the pipeline file of GitLab itself open, 538 lines: the outline searched for workflow and showing that key, the source in the middle, and the Inspector on the right saying what the key is, which format it belongs to and which rule looks at it.

The pipeline file of GitLab itself, used under its MIT licence.

SlayerTree with a Kubernetes Deployment open: the key kind is chosen in the outline, and the Inspector says what it is, which document it belongs to and which rules look at it.

The window New from a Kind with kube typed: Kubernetes, KubeVirt and Sealed Secrets, each with its icon, and a choice between an example and an empty form.
